UNFLU is the only dietary supplement that contributes to the proper function of the respiratory and immune systems of children and adults. METHOD OF APPLICATION
Method of application:

MECHANISM OF ACTION
African geranium (Pelargonium sidoides) is a plant whose root is traditionally used for respiratory problems. The root of this plant contains various compounds (phenols, coumarins, purines) that show antiviral and antibacterial activity, beneficial effects on the immune system and thus contribute to the proper function of the respiratory system.
Antiviral and antibacterial activity comes from Gallic acid and other phenolic components contained in the extract. Microbiological tests show antibacterial activity in many strains of bacteria, such as Staphylococcus aureus, Streptococcus pneumoniae, Escherichia coli, Klebsiella pneumoniae, Proteus mirabilis 3. The immunomodulatory effect is reflected in the stimulation of the synthesis of certain cytokines and enhanced macrophage activity. In addition, the use of African geranium (Pelargonium sidoides) extract increases the mobility of ciliary villi in the bronchi and facilitates expectoration, which is a significant protective mechanism in respiratory problems.
Extract of Black Elderberry fruit (Sambuci fructus extractum siccum) contains numerous compounds, such as anthocyanins, flavanols and flavanol esters, which have a beneficial effect on colds, flu and various types of cough.
In addition, the fruit contains a certain amount of essential oils, vitamins, minerals and carbohydrates, which reduce respiratory problems, act as diaphoretics and create a protective layer on the mucous membrane of the upper respiratory tract.
The extract was tested in the population of children and adults and its antiviral effect against the influenza virus was shown. Unlike Black Elderberry’s leaves and twigs called which can cause mild gastrointestinal problems, the Black Elderberry fruit does not show side effects.
